Extensions can see and change the pages you visit, so Hominis only installs extensions that are signed by addons.mozilla.org, the same rule Firefox applies. An extension that isn’t signed, or whose file was changed after signing, is refused.
- Install extensions from addons.mozilla.org whenever you can.
- If you got the file from a developer directly, ask them for a signed version.
