Checking your Mac
Choose Apple menu → About This Mac. Next to Chip, an Apple silicon Mac shows a name such as Apple M1, M2 or later. The macOS version appears at the top of the same window.
When macOS falls below the minimum
If a future version of Hominis needs a newer macOS than your Mac can run, the version you have keeps working and Hominis stops offering updates it could not start.
Internet access
Hominis works like any browser: it needs a connection to load websites. It also checks for its own updates, and keeps certificate revocation data and the extension blocklist current. The privacy notice lists every service it contacts.
